9/11 Comic

“Never before have I seen a nonfiction book so beautifully and compellingly written and illustrated as The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation” says American comic icon Stan Lee, creator of Spider–Man, X-Men, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor.

I bought this book around a year ago and agree fully with Lee’s recommendation. What I found particularly useful were the parallel time lines of events occurring in the different planes and locations. The example page below shows you a glimpse. These parallel time lines spread over several pages. Other pages use the usual comic narrative boxes to tell the story.

As the title explains, it is “Based on the Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States”.
