The Connected Web

We all know the web is a mass of connections. It’s written about and spoken about. But the best way, surely, is to show the connections?

Which is exactly what this infographic does. It’s got everything a student at school would love to see: cool colours, not too much writing, clarity, easy to understand and a bit like a game. How different to pages of poorly photocopied worksheets. Or the excruciating combination of Comic Sans font and Word Art that passes for design.

As I wander through secondary schools, I’m constantly surprised at the lack of involvement of the art departments in educating their colleagues and leading the school in creating contemporary and well–designed communications.

If you see any exceptions, let me know and I’ll promote it here.
