Emotional Graph

I’ve just come across this wonderful visual organization of emotions and facial expressions. It cleverly starts with a blank expression at the junction of the four categories of emotions represented by the colour bands blue, red, yellow and mauve.

As you move outwards along these bands, so the emotions become more intense.  Along the way, you’re given pointers to the facial indicators of the various emotions.

What a wonderfully engaging and educational tool for students. Up on a classroom wall, it would prompt and guide discussion about the students’ own feelings.

It was created by Joumana Medlej  of cedarseed.com. You can download a large jpg for free from http://cedarseed.deviantart.com/#/ds1wwv
